The idea to create Gluten Free Card was born in 2017 when Tomasz found out he has celiac disease. At that time, we were just heading to Thailand for a 3-months stay. We didn't want to wait to start the diet once back in Poland, so we began it during our trip. The beginnings were difficult not only because we had to explain what the gluten-free diet is about but also to do it ... in Thai! We looked for different translation cards online but none of them was fitting our needs (eg. many didn't mention soy sauce), so we created our own. Each time we ordered a meal, we improved it by adding new information.
On the way back we tested the idea also in Malaysia, Singapore and Greece. Then in Poland, we prepared the final version of the text and commissioned the translation to a professional translation agency. We hope that our product will be as useful for you as it is for us.
